To ensure all qualified new applicants receive essential training in basic wildlife rehabilitation principals and become familiar with important related wildlife laws, programs, and information, all new applicants must attend and pass Connecticut's Wildlife Rehabilitation Seminar.

This is a one-day, mandatory seminar for those individuals who are interested in becoming an appointed wildlife rehabilitator in Connecticut.

**Please note: Wildlife rehabilitator applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

The price of this seminar is $30 and comes with a one year membership to the Connecticut Wildlife Rehabilitators Association (CWRA).

Please also save the date for the CWRA Spring Meeting, which will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Indian Rock Nature Preserve in Bristol, CT. Your CWRA membership gets you FREE admission. This meeting will feature 4 conconcurrent workshop tracks, each consisting of 90-120 minute presentations on:

Track 1: Rabies Vector Species: Foxes, Raccoons, Skunks, CT Requirements, and How to Rehab within the Policy

Track 2: Bird Rehabilitation/ Special Topics: Songbirds, Raptors, Waterfowl, and Wildlife Advocacy

Track 3: Mammal Rehabilitation: Woodchucks, Rabbits, Squirrels, and Opossums

Track 4: Turtles: 4-hour Intensive
